The dining area and kitchen are in a new timber frame extension designed for outdoor dining on the flat roof.
In 2018 the Maitreya vegetarian restaurant in Easton, Bristol is currently being gutted and rebuilt with a new roof before re-opening as a companion to the owners’ other cafe, The Bristolian. http://www.thebristolian.co.uk
As consultant my main input has been in helping redesign the outside of the building, and the roof design which will be SIPS panels on purpose made laminated beam trusses.
