A basement was inserted to a full 100m2 underneath this double fronted Heaver Estate house overlooking Tooting Bec Common. The steel columns visible in the kitchen support the back of the house.

We don’t normally use glass roofs but this one faced north with 3 storeys above so it didn’t overheat.
